Flight Training Requirements
How long does it take to earn a Private Pilot License?
Most students complete training in 3–6 months depending on schedule and consistency.
How many hours are required?
FAA minimum is 40 hours, but the national average is 55–70 hours.
Do I need prior experience?
No. Discovery flights are designed for beginners. All levels of experience are encouraged.
Can I train part-time?
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling for working professionals and students.
What should I bring to my first lesson?
Valid photo ID

Is flying safe?
Safety is our top priority. All training follows FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance standards, and conservative decision-making principles.
FAA Requirements
Before flight training begins, all students must:
Provide valid government ID
Complete required FAA documentation
Hold or apply for FAA Medical Certificate (as required)
Sign liability waiver and training agreement
Understand cancellation and scheduling policies
Cancellation Policy
24-hour notice required for cancellations
Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to charge
Weather cancellations determined by instructor for safety
Medical Requirements
Private & Commercial students must obtain at minimum a Third Class FAA Medical Certificate before solo flight.
